BELITUNG<\/strong> – Ditpolairud Kepolisian Daerah Kepulauan Bangka Belitung berhasil menggagalkan upaya penyelundupan 8 ton pasir timah ilegal di Kabupaten Belitung Timur. Dalam operasi tersebut, petugas menyita 160 kampil pasir timah siap edar yang rencananya akan dibawa keluar dari Pulau Belitung.<\/p>\n

Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Bangka Belitung Komisaris Besar (Pol) Agus Sugiyarso menjelaskan, penindakan dilakukan di Pelabuhan Roda Emas, Kecamatan Gantung, pada Rabu (16\/9\/2026) sekitar pukul 18.30 WIB. Selain menyita barang bukti, polisi juga menangkap dua orang di lokasi kejadian.<\/p>\n

“Ada dua orang yang kami amankan, yaitu HL (51) yang bertindak sebagai sopir, dan AD (25) selaku kuli angkut. Saat ini keduanya sedang menjalani pemeriksaan intensif oleh penyidik Ditpolairud,” kata Agus di Mapolda Babel, Jumat (18\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n

Berdasarkan pemeriksaan awal, ratusan kampil pasir timah tersebut diangkut dari sebuah gudang menuju pelabuhan. Rencananya, komoditas tambang ilegal itu akan dimuat ke dalam kapal untuk diselundupkan ke luar provinsi.<\/p>\n

Untuk proses hukum lebih lanjut, kedua terduga pelaku akan dibawa ke Mako Polairud Polda Babel di Pangkalpinang. Sementara itu, barang bukti berupa 8 ton pasir timah kini dititipkan di Gudang Pusat Timah (GPT) PT Timah Tbk di Kecamatan Gantung.<\/p>\n

Berdasarkan informasi yang dihimpun dari sumber lokal yang enggan disebutkan namanya, aktivitas pengiriman timah ilegal tersebut diduga dikoordinasi oleh seseorang bernama Ferry. Ia disebut-sebut sebagai pihak yang mengatur seluruh teknis keberangkatan logistik di lapangan.<\/p>\n

Selain itu, sumber lain menyatakan bahwa kepemilikan komoditas tambang tanpa izin tersebut mengarah kepada seorang pengusaha lokal berinisial JA alias Joni Akong.<\/p>\n

Namun, saat dikonfirmasi secara terpisah mengenai tudingan tersebut, Joni Akong membantah keras keterlibatan dirinya. Ia menyatakan tidak tahu-menahu perihal kepemilikan maupun aktivitas pengiriman pasir timah ilegal yang digagalkan oleh pihak kepolisian tersebut.<\/p>\n
